About Us
This website is managed by the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Unit.
The Suffolk Coast and Heaths Unit is based at Melton, just outside Woodbridge. The Unit acts as a champion for the AONB, promoting its conservation and working in partnership with a range of organisations, all committed to conserving this unique landscape. Its main role is to raise awareness about the AONB and to deliver a Management Strategy, based on the goals of:
- Conserving the area’s natural beauty and unique character
- Ensuring it is properly valued
- Promoting sympathetic, sustainable usage
- Involving the community and other user groups
- Supporting access, sustainable recreation and ‘green’ tourism.
